Google Gallery Ads Might Change Multifamily PPC Forever…Might

REPLI Team • September 24, 2019

In early August 2019, Google surprised select advertisers with Beta access to their new shiny wizardry of interactive Gallery Ads.

Google’s new Gallery Ads, were first introduced to us back in May, at the Google Marketing Live Keynote. Select advertisers, for now, will have beta access to showcase their customers beautiful communities at the top of the mobile search results page. That’s right, Google is rewarding advertisers that use this new ad format the coveted ‘top spot’ (1st Position) on the search results page.

So you’re probably wondering what Gallery Ads are, and what they look like aren’t you?
Google Gallery Ads are swipe-able (like Instagram or Facebook Carousel Ads), image-based ads that appear at the top of mobile search results.

These Ads are designed to help you showcase your brand visually where you never were able to do so previously. Visibility has long been a difficult fight for the Multifamily PPC game. Tried and True efforts like structured snippets, expanded text ads, call extensions & price extensions always help, but gallery ads will truly set you apart from your competition.

Gallery Ads are eligible to have 3 unique headlines, up to 8 images and all of those images are eligible to have their own unique tagline. The Multifamily industry relies heavily on having a strong digital presence and great creative to back it up. We’ll now have the ability to push all of that great photography from your landing pages directly to the prospect via Gallery Ads. Boom!

Win the Mobile PPC Visibility Game with Gallery Ads!
As many of you reading this know, a large percentage of your prospects begin their search for an apartment on a mobile device. At REPLI, we see 80-85% of all clicks, impressions and conversions come from a mobile device. By using Gallery Ads, you’ll also be able to increase the real estate your ad takes up in the mobile search results page. Think your text ads look great? I’m sure they do, but which of the ads below seem more enticing to you?

Knowing where your visitors come from is half the battle in multifamily marketing — and now MultiHub makes it crystal clear. Our latest MultiHub update brings a brand-new Traffic Acquisition view to your reporting, powered by GA4. 🎉 What's New? ✅ Source/Medium Breakdown – See every traffic source — direct, Google paid, organic search, social, and referrals — all in one clean view. ✅ Traffic Trends Over Time – A timeline chart shows how each source performs day to day, so you can spot what's working and when. ✅ At-a-Glance Comparison – A ranked bar chart instantly shows which channels are driving the most users to your site. ✅ Engagement Metrics That Matter – Sessions, engaged sessions, engagement rate, and events per session, all side by side for every source. How It Works. The new Traffic Acquisition section lives right in your MultiHub reporting. It pulls your GA4 data and organizes it so you can answer the questions that actually matter: Which channels send you the most visitors? Is your paid search outperforming organic — or the other way around? Which referral sites are sending engaged, high-quality traffic? How is your traffic trending week over week? No spreadsheets, no digging through GA4's menus — just the numbers you need, laid out and ready to read. Why You'll Love It. Marketing decisions are only as good as the data behind them. With the new Traffic Acquisition view, you'll know exactly which channels are pulling their weight and where to focus your next move — all without leaving MultiHub : smarter reporting, better decisions, less guesswork.
