Organic Media Specialist II

The Organic Media Specialist II is responsible for the execution of strategies and tasks for the Organic Media team.  Organic Media Specialist II reports to the Manager of Organic Media 


As an Organic Media Specialist II, you assume a critical role in driving the execution of strategies and tasks within the Organic Media team. Reporting directly to the Manager of Organic Media, you wield your expertise to lead the team in optimizing online presence, harnessing the power of SEO and organic social media to amplify impact.

💣 responsibilities.

  • Engage proactively and positively with customer’s regarding SEO and organic media strategies. 
  • Perform and recommend optimization tasks
  • Conduct keyword research 
  • Leverage SEO tools, such as Google Analytics, SEMRush, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, etc.
  • Research and implement SEO recommendations and best practices
  • Monitor metrics and search algorithms to keep up with changes in the SEO landscape
  • Continually check search terms, rankings, and analytics to monitor performance of website and make recommendations for improvement based on data and industry trend
  • Assist with the internal workflow for onboardings and one-off account onboardings
  • Communicate with internal teams re: items needed to complete onboarding
  • Work with the support team and solve tickets related to SEO items
  • Ensure development and web service initiatives are SEO-friendly
  • Work with the dev and web service teams to ensure new site templates, widgets, and any on-site elements are optimized for SEO 
  • Make recommendations for a positive user experience with a focus on conversion optimization
  • Oversees content creation for websites, social media, Google Business Profile and any other content needs
  • Work with the web services team to create content to drive SEO
  • Identify opportunities for improvement using keyword research and available data
  • Creates and manages organic social media content
  • Creating a social media content calendar, including content creation, design, posting, and reporting

🏴 required skills.

  • Knowledge of UX/UI best practices in relation to SEO
  • Knowledge of SEO or organic social media best practices 
  • Excellent communication and team work skills
  • Ideal, Familiarity with relevant tools (SEMrush, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Screaming Frog, Page Speed Insights, etc)

✊ education and experience.

  • 1-2 years with SEO or organic social media,  or relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills

🔥 compensation & benefits.

  • Base Salary Range: $45,000-$50,000
  • Bonus: Up to 10% of Annual Salary
