The Organic Media Specialist I plays a pivotal role in supporting and executing strategies for the Organic Media team. Reporting directly to the Manager of Organic Media, this position combines hands-on execution with opportunities for professional growth.


You will contribute to SEO, Google Business Profile (GBP) management, blog writing, and organic social media while gaining exposure to performance reporting and onboarding support. Leveraging your foundational knowledge of SEO and organic social media, you’ll help enhance visibility, engagement, and performance across digital platforms for our clients.

💣 responsibilities.

Content Creation and Optimization

  • Develop and optimize high-quality, SEO-friendly content for websites, blog posts, and Google Business Profiles.
  • Ensure content relevance and visibility, contributing to improved search engine rankings and user engagement
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create and refine content aligned with client needs.

Google Business Profile (GBP) Management

  • Create and publish GBP posts, updates, events, and offers.
  • Maintain profile information accuracy across client locations.
  • Apply and learn local SEO best practices to maximize GBP performance.

Social Media Management

  • Create, manage, and report on organic social media content across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram).
  • Build and maintain a content calendar including copywriting, visual design, scheduling, and engagement analysis.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and clients to secure approvals and ensure brand alignment.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Support the tracking of key performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, GBP Insights, and social media platforms.
  • Assist in analyzing performance trends and contribute recommendations for optimization.
  • Support reporting efforts to help inform strategy and demonstrate results.

Onboarding & Support

  • Assist with SEO and content-related onboarding tasks, including gathering assets, setting up tracking tools, and coordinating workflows.
  • Monitor and respond to SEO and content-related support tickets, working cross-functionally to resolve issues quickly.

Additional Responsibilities 

  • Perform SEO optimization tasks, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and metadata implementation.
  • Write and edit blog posts, web content, and GBP posts to support SEO strategies.
  • Manage and optimize client Google Business Profiles.
  • Create and manage organic social media content calendars, including posting, design, and reporting.
  • Pull and interpret performance data to identify insights and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing campaign execution.


🏴 required skills.

  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to produce high-quality content for web, blogs, and social media.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles, Google Business Profiles, and local SEO concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across teams and clients.
  • Basic understanding of performance tracking tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, GBP Insights, and social media analytics.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail orientation, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive learner eager to develop skills and grow within the role.
  • Familiarity with tools such as SEMrush, Google Tag Manager, Screaming Frog, and Page Speed Insights is a plus.

✊ education and experience.

  • 0–6 months of experience with SEO, content writing, or organic social media (internships, coursework, or professional experience).

🔥 compensation & benefits.

Base Salary Range: $40,000 - $45,000


Annual Bonus Potential: Up to 10%
